2014 Reunion Update

Third Saturday in May, as usual, as ALWAYS! May 17, 2014. It will be held in Elgin, OK at the Elgin Grade School Cafeteria. HWY 17 begins on Elgin Main Street, due east to Sterling. If you go east and see the schools on the highway there will be signs directing you to the school cafeteria.  The kitchen will be open and a playground is available for the kids.

There is a large grocery store available for your convenience.  We will set up no later than 10:00 a.m. Please bring dishes and desserts.  We will have drawings and Bingo.

There is one item for a raffle this year – a photo album with 3 generations! A wonderful piece of history – Thomas and Josie, their children and grand children. Dates and children names are included.  A copy of the Marriage Certificate for Thomas and Josie is also included. You will want to win this book!

The Bingo will remain free as long as some of you will bring small, inexpensive items for prizes.  We also need items to raffle.  Any good ideas? The reunion needs your help to survive!

Monetary donations, bingo prizes and items to raffle are always needed.  Please help us continue the fun of getting together, visiting and keeping the tradition going.

    Be sure to remind everyone that the reunion is coming up.  Be sure to call Barbara if you have questions about what to bring or want to help with expenses.  There will be one quilt for raffle.  The quilt raffle helps pay for the event.

  • 2012 Date Change

    We’re thinking about moving the reunion another week toward the end of May so that school is out. Several family members have grandchildren in school so they aren’t able to attend the 3rd week in May. What do you think?
